An old Polish city fizzes with fear. The townsfolk are at the mercy of a dragon who lurks in the cave below the castle... Konrad's dad always used to say, 'There is a character in a book somewhere that matches you almost entirely. It's just a matter of finding them'.
Join local author Ewa Jozefkowicz, who will tell you a little about the inspiration behind The Dragon In The Bookshop and delve into some exciting ancient legends and why they're still relevant today. You'll then have the chance to write the opening of your own dragon story with prizes to be won for the most enticing one! Illustrations are encouraged, so the budding illustrators among you will get your chance to shine too! We'll be creating our own, unique and unforgettable dragon characters which should of course come with a spine-tingling name. Art materials will be provided.
Thursday 7th July @ 4pm
Tickets are £5, which is redeemable against a copy of the book. Adults do not need to book
