Instill a love of stories through one of our illustration and creative writing classes or one of our book groups.
Every Monday we run one of our book groups for any keen North London readers eager to discuss and review the newest (and some of the oldest) books on offer.
The groups provide a relaxed, informal and fun atmosphere in which everyone is asked to offer their opinions and feelings on books chosen by a different member of the group each time. As the weeks progress everyone is invited to compare and contrast the titles read and choose a favourite. The group offers children and teens a chance to share their love of reading and have a dialogue with others whose opinion’s may differ, in a friendly and enjoyable way.
Our Teen Book Group offers up a chance for older readers to delve into slightly more emotionally mature themes than our younger group, and to discuss and read more complex books while still keeping a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Titles chosen by the group are bought directly from the shop.

It is well known that dance develops children physically, mentally and psychologically, contributing to their self-confidence. Contemporary dance for children is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres. It is truly the perfect example of dancing freely allowing the children to let go and express themselves creatively. Not only do we work on developing different movement skills but also on a routine inspired by a famous children’s poem. The children will show their work at the last session.
