An Adventure for Pickled Pepper
An Adventure For Pickled Pepper tells the story of a young girl who travels across land and sea in an attempt to find a place where her and her siblings can belong. She comes up against giant waves and hungry sharks and faces every challenge with unwavering strength and a never ending love of books.
An Adventure For Pickled Pepper has been inspired by the wonderful bookshop theatre space in the heart of Crouch End. The story has evolved from the beautiful books that the shop holds as well as the many kind people who visit it on a weekly basis. This show will celebrate the shop and all that it has to offer, as well as the young children who show such imagination every time they walk through its doors.
Roisin Sheridan is currently studying a BA in playwrighting at Central School of Speech and Drama and has been carrying out a writing residency at Pickled Pepper Books. She has written this piece especially for the bookshop and the wonderful community of customers it has.
